No, this regulation only prohibits the import into the U.S. of new models not manufactured in the U.S., not of existing models that already have FCC type approval. Therefore, this regulation currently has no impact on JRS, as our current Eco 100 routers are based on existing Asus models. Asus is a multinational computer and electronics manufacturer with a turnover of $24 billion, headquartered in Taiwan.

Incidentally, almost all American router brands are manufactured outside the U.S. as well, so it remains to be seen how these regulations will play out in practice.
