Parental control: how can I block access to inappropriate content? [JRS Eco 100 Era/Eos]

You can set up an OpenDNS family shield in the Eco 100 router that will block access to inappropriate content. This will route domain name requests through the OpenDNS filter service.

• Log into the router’s settings menu and go to the Network -> Interfaces -> WAN page.
• Go to the Advanced Settings tab and untick ‘Use DNS servers advertised by peer’.
• In the field ‘Use custom DNS servers’ that now appears, enter the following IP addresses of the OpenDNS servers:
  • Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222
  • Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220
• Click on Save & Apply.
