I just want to say a big thank you! I am up and running and very impressed with this firmware and love the fact that I can turn WIFI on/off with the WPS button. You should tout that WIFI on/off switch capability in your manual for those that want to use it. My family will definitely be using it until I have this router relocated away from my office desk.
I tested the low EMF capability with an HF 35C Analyzer and can see that the EMF is significantly reduced just as you said. Great stuff!

Downloaded SW on existing router. All went smoothly, works like a charm (am using it in AP-Mode)…
As per design, all networks disappear from my wifi analyser tools, so very happy with that..
Will do some tests with my EMF meters when time permits – interested to see what the results will be!
Definitely will recommend the router to clients when doing assessments (they usually too undisciplined to switch off off wifi or even to put timer on… (have also set the switch off time for the night, so there’s no surprises, as well as turned the power way down)…
Thanks for a great product!! Hopefully can refer future clients and will certeainly mention when doing my EMF talks!

We purchased the Asus router and your software about 3 years ago now. I could feel a very big difference in my energy level when we first switched. We live in the Outback and here is no measurable EMFs other than what we make our selves. It is so useful that the WiFi switches off when we put our phones in airplane mode. It has definitely taken some stress off my husbands and my relationship that we no longer need to coordinate time without WiFi.
I am convinced that the reduced pulse from the router also makes a big difference. Listening to the pulse on the Acoustimeter gives me a very good feeling of a reduced stress level.
Until a couple of months ago we have been able to constantly have the power set to 4 mW. Then my husband got a new I-phone at work that can not connect under these conditions so now I turn it up to 100 mW when he is working from home. I am just so grateful that it is for a limited time, and this reminded me how grateful I am for having purchased your software and the router in the first place.
We are very privileged to be able to live under the low EMF radiation conditions.

Thank you, it works well, it turns WiFi off if i am not using WiFi in my laptop. Why other WiFi routers and firmwares not use these functions? I have not tested all settings, but 5G WiFi i turned off and i am using it @ 2.4GHz (20MHz), but only N Wifi settings works for me, with Auto settings i did get Unable to connect message, right now its not hidden WiFi network, because Windows also did not detect hidden networks after i enabled this settings in the menu. Other than that, it seems to work well at the moment. Cant test it with WiFi tester, I do not own this kind of device right now, but i think it works more safe for human body. Are any newer router devices supported someday? Thank you!
Also i use only 2G mobile phone with integrated speakers, i hope someone can help me to reduce dirty electricity in my house as well, i do not have shielded cables in my house walls. With gratitude and love!!!

First, I appreciate and grateful for the developer(s) for making the firmware only version available. This is a huge upgrade to my older Asus RT-AC68U, which I bought a year ago as slightly-used router.
It took almost a day for me to get the download of the firmware, which is reasonable. Installed it as soon as I received the download link. The process all went smooth, and I was able to set up everything in less than half an hour. Then I went to testing the speed for various settings in the JRS Eco settings page.
I’m amazed by the amount of settings you can play with in the JRS Eco settings page. But I think the most important among the settings are the beacon and power level settings. I have set my RT-AC68U to the lowest possible power level available, which is 4mW and it still provides enough transmission power for all the family members. We live in a relatively small house, so having set that lowest power is not really an issue, but of benefit instead.
On the other hand, I set the beacon interval to 2000 without degrading speed and performance for our purposes. I may experiment with other settings until I can find the best possible value without degradation in speed and performance.
Right now, my RT-AC68U is set to JRS Full Eco mode, which is working fantastically. With all these settings and selecting the proper channel and channel bandwidth, we are able to enjoy the convenience of wifi again. Before the installation of JRS Eco firmware, we were all wired including all the smartphones, but it is cumbersome due to cables and usb-c adapters we were using.
When I get the RF meter, I will test my setup and possibly update this review when possible.
Again, I’m thankful and grateful to the developers for making the firmware available. It’s a huge savings for those who have the router already.

The firmware install and configuration worked perfectly thanks to the quality of the software and the comprehensive and well written manual. I have reduced my wifi to a single 2.4GHz hidden network and removed all 5GHz networks (visible and hidden), set the transmitter power to the minimum 4mW and set a beacon interval of every two seconds. Even with these low settings wifi performance is fine and my EMF meter shows the RF levels to be far lower than with my previous regular wifi router. The wifi on/off scheduling and the full Eco mode also seem to work perfectly. I’m trying to go fully wired but it’s difficult in today’s world and this product allows a good compromise between health and convenience. Lastly the firmware option allowed me to purchase the router device locally without incurring shipping charges, a carbon footprint and delivery delays.
Overall a very happy customer thankful for this product being available.

After installing the firmware, I can feel the difference ‘in the air’. I’m assured of that the WiFi will only turn on when a device searches for a signal. And even so, I can feel a much reduced pulse from the router. Thsnk you for offering the firmware download. It saves me the hassle of dealing with restrictive Customs regulations when bringing in electricsl devices.
